The procedure consists of two appointments, the second being a touch-up to place more pigment into the skin, evening the color and ensuring longer lasting make-up. The make-up is permanent, as there will always be pigment in the skin; however, over years it may require a touch-up (at a reduced rate) to enhance or darken the color depending on personal preference and life style. The most common question about the procedure is: Does it hurt? A numbing agent is used during each treatment to ensure the client is kept comfortable. Most clients experience the sensation of pressure and vibration from the machine, but say they don't feel much 'pain'.
